Steps

Tie a Palomar knot and leave a long tag instead of trimming it short.

Pass the tag back through the eye so the hook stands out from the line.

Leave 12–18 inches of tag below the hook.
- 4
Clip the drop-shot weight on the tag. Nose-hook a small worm.
