Step 1
Overlap the two lines by about 8 inches.

Tie a uni knot with the first tag around the second standing line.

Tie a second uni with the other tag around the first standing line.

Wet both knots.

Pull the standing lines so the two knots slide together.

Trim both tags.
Follow the words, not the drawing. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.
Common mistakes
- The same turn count on braid and fluoro.
- Pulling the tags instead of the standing lines, which leaves a gap.
