Step 1
Cross the two ends around the bundle.

Step 2
Tuck each back.

Step 3
They do not form a square knot.

Step 4
Snug them onto the bundle.

Step 5
Use it only as a bind.
The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.
Common mistakes
- Loading the two ends as if it were a sheet bend.
- Leaving it loose.
