Step 1
Make a small eye or use a fixed eye.

Step 2
Pass the toggle through the eye.

Step 3
Turn the toggle across the eye.

Step 4
The load should bear on the toggle.

Step 5
Pull the toggle out to release.

Common mistakes
- A toggle thinner than the eye is wide, so it pulls through.
