    The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.

  1. Step 1

    Around the standing line.

  2. Step 2

    Two turns inside the loop.

  3. Step 3

    One turn outside.

  4. Step 4

    Dress the three turns.

  5. Step 5

    Slide it to adjust. It should hold when you let go.

Common mistakes

  • All turns on the same side, so it will not grip when you slide it.
  • Jamming it so hard it will not adjust.
