Round Seizing


Step 1
Lay the two rope parts together.

Step 2
Wrap the seizing cord in tight turns.

Step 3
Keep the turns touching.

Step 4
Hitch the end over the turns.

Step 5
The two parts should not separate.
The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.
Common mistakes
- Gaps between the turns.
- No hitch over the turns, so they unwind.
