    The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.

    Make the small collar loop.

  2. Step 2

    Form the first working loop.

  3. Step 3

    Form the second working loop.

  4. Step 4

    Pass the tag as in a bowline.

  5. Step 5

    Set the knot only after both loops are sized.

Common mistakes

  • Setting the knot before the two loops are the sizes you need.
  • One loop pulling out through the other.
