    The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.

    Hold the loop of the last mesh.

    Pass the twine through that loop.

    Around and tuck as a sheet bend.

    Snug the knot against the mesh.

    The next square should hold its shape.

Common mistakes

  • The tag on the wrong side of the mesh.
  • Uneven tension so the squares go diamond.
