Step 1
Timber hitch around the stone.

Step 2
Twist the tag along itself.

Step 3
Add a half hitch farther up the standing part.

Step 4
Snug the half hitch toward the stone.

Step 5
The pull should come straight.
The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.
Common mistakes
- The half hitch on the wrong side of the stone.
