    The drawing follows this tying order. Pause, step, or scrub to stay with the words. The standing line runs to the reel. The tag is the short end you trim. Skin-hook means the point lies flat in the plastic, not out where grass can grab it.

  1. Step 1

    Overlap the ropes.

  2. Step 2

    Form a loop with the first.

  3. Step 3

    Tuck the second through that loop.

  4. Step 4

    Tuck the first tag back through the center.

  5. Step 5

    Pull both standing parts.

Common mistakes

  • Tags left outside the center.
  • One side pulled tight before the other is tucked.
